The GPS Academy specializes in providing high-quality training programs
for professionals working in
Medical Imaging, Radiation Safety,and
Medical Physics. Our live and online training programs
are designed to satisfy requirements of accrediting bodies, the NRC, and
Agreement State Agencies, as well as recommendations regarding privileging
/ credentialing for operators of medical imaging equipment.
Our courses cover a range of topics involving radiation and radioactive materials use in the workplace, and we are continuously expanding our offering. The online training courses currently available through the GPS academy include:
- CT Radiation Safety, Dose and Risk for Medical and Dental Practitioners, Technologists and Staff (per ICACTL accreditation standards)
- Radiation Safety Training for Fluoroscopy Users: Cardiac Labs, Interventional Labs and Mobile C-Arms (per NCRP Report #168, February 2011)
